Our mission

We help small businesses be discoverable and accurately represented inside modern AI assistants so they can get more customers and automate routine requests. We build and maintain a “living knowledge base” of your business so AI like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity can find reliable answers about what you do, how to buy from you, and how to take actions like requesting a quote or making a reservation.

What we do, in plain terms

• We collect the factual, operational information a business needs to be understood by AI: hours, services, pricing signals, policies, files, and voice or text notes.
• We connect to backend SaaS providers that are connected to your website, and we make scheduling and booking information accessible to AI in a clear, structured way.
• We help bring forward the implicit knowledge held by business owners and staff, and we turn it into clear, usable information in the knowledge base.
• We structure that information into a machine-readable knowledge base that AI assistants can query and act from.
• We provide simple ways to update the knowledge base (drop a note, upload a document, or pick a category) so your information can stay current.
• We make this knowledge available to AI assistants to help you get more sales.

We call the result a “living knowledge base”: it is meant to be updated over time rather than a one-off upload.

Where we came from

Courtyard launched as part of our broader vision to help people and small businesses be accurately represented in an AI-driven world. We spun the product out to focus on helping local businesses be understood by consumer-facing AI assistants.
